HvsZ:Vibe: a pre-alpha we actually play

Hello from the family
Pixel Family has a project of our own, the one we kept teasing as “heroes, zombies, dungeon.” It’s HvsZ:Vibe now: Heroes vs Zombies: Vibe. Not AAA. Not “done.” Pre-alpha: we play it ourselves, things appear, things get cut. We want the process to stay fun.
What it is
A few heroes carve through a zombie horde on an arena (right now a warm dungeon, not a warehouse of textures). On the zombie side you can play the bruiser or the little green one (Greenie / Nom): he blends into the AI horde and works great with the bruiser. Asymmetry, base capture, session perks.
What’s in now
One map: the warm dungeon; four points: two side bases (heroes / zombies) and two neutrals; win by capturing the enemy HQ. Heroes hold PvE pressure from the AI horde and can win by capture; there’s PvP (zombie players: bruiser and Greenie). Network: LAN or internet. No other maps in the menu yet.
System requirements
Even a pre-alpha needs system requirements: we’re Pixel Family Production, after all (comes with the badge). Guidance, not a hard promise: weaker devices may stutter.
Windows
- Min
- Win10 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, D3D12
- Recommended
- 8 GB RAM, GTX 1050-class GPU
Android
- Min
- 9+ arm64, 3 GB RAM (not Android 8)
- Recommended
- 11+, 4–6 GB RAM
Balance
Balance? Honestly: eyeballed for now. Sometimes heroes have too much fun; sometimes zombies are too mean. And making it so zombies can actually win when a player is on their side: that’s still a quest for us. Ideas welcome. We’ll pick a channel (Telegram or Discord); for now write to email and support via donations or Boosty if you can.
Hoping soon
RuStore and Huawei AppGallery when approved.
